In response to the rising level of air pollution in Delhi, caused by vehicular emission, with the help of around 2500 civil defense volunteers at 100 traffic intersection of Delhi, the department of environment, government of National Capital Territory of Delhi is conducting a public awareness campaign titled “Red Light On Gadi Off“ from 2020 onwards
Subsequently, in the present year too, GNCTD launched the same awareness campaign from 18.10.2021 to 18.11.2021 at 100 important intersection/red crossing of Delhi with posting of 2500 CDVS(Civil Defense Volunteers) at these point. The campaign was extended up to 18.12.2021
