You need to be a school/college within Delhi NCT to avail this scheme. You need to fill up the Eco-Club Grant form and send it to us to get registered. For the next year you need to again fill the grants form along with the utilisation certificates and send them to us.

 

For schools there are 3 forms:
1 Eco-Club Grants Form, 2 Utilisation Certificates-Rs.20,000 & Rs. 2,500

For colleges there are 2 forms:
1 Eco-Club Grants Form, 1 Utilisation Certificates-Rs.20,000

No. But it would be preferred if it is done so during the beginning of every financial year(May-June-July).

The fund allocated to your school/college is meant for educating, spreading awareness and for the preservation for the environment. The funds are to be spent in achieving this goal.

The utilisation report which is submitted before/ at the end of every financial year by each school/college, has no specific format, you can be as creative as you like. However photographs added in the report would be beneficial.

According to E-waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2011, E-waste means waste electrical and electronic equipment, whole or in part or rejects from their manufacturing and repair process, which are intended to be discarded.

E-waste should be disposed off through collection centers and recyclers authorized with Central / State Pollution Control Board. (Lists of e-waste Collection Centres &Authorized Recyclers)

According to Delhi Government’s Notification dated 23.10.2012, regarding ban on plastic carry bags, the term “Carry Bag” means bag made from any plastic material, used for the purpose of carrying or dispensing commodities but do not include bags that constitute or form an integral part of the packaging in which goods are sealed prior to use.

According to Municipal Solid Waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2000, "Vermicomposting" is a process of using earthworms for conversion of bio-degradable wastes into compost.

According to Fly Ash Notification dated 03.11.2009 issued by MoEF, GOI, the term “Fly Ash” means and includes all categories or groups of coal or lignite ash generated at the thermal power plant and collected by Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) or bag filters or other similar suitable equipments; bottom ash is the ash collected separately at the bottom of the boiler; pond ash is the mixture of ESP Fly Ash and bottom ash, but for the purpose of this Notification, the term Fly Ash means and includes all ash generated such as ESP ash, dry fly ash, bottom ash, pond ash and mound ash as the objective is to utilize all the ashes.

According to Municipal Solid Waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2000, "demolition and construction waste" means wastes from building materials debris and rubble resulting from construction, re-modelling, repair and demolition operation.

NGOs including RWAs, Voluntary organizations, Self-Help Groups engaged in the conservation, preservation of environment and pollution control activities.

The financial assistance under the said plan scheme is only for the projects/proposals, which are conducted w.r.t. the issues/area related to National Capital Territory of Delhi.
